A useful scope starts with the purpose.

Different formats ask for different kinds of care. Explore the work by its purpose, then define the right scope for your project.

01

Presentation structure

Shape the argument before the slides.

A useful presentation has a direction. Structure work sorts the central idea, supporting evidence and the decision the audience needs to make. The result is a slide-by-slide outline with a clear purpose for each page.

Bring an existing outline, a rough deck or the material you need to explain. The proposed sequence distinguishes the opening, context, main argument and next step. Speaker notes and a leave-behind document have different reading needs; that choice informs the structure.

02

Slide design

Give each slide a clear visual job.

A consistent type scale, spacing system and set of layouts help an audience follow the story. Slide design turns supplied material into title slides, section breaks, diagrams and content pages that belong to the same presentation.

The brief defines the intended screen ratio, editing software and final handover format. Any supplied brand guidelines, charts and image rights are considered alongside legibility. Editable source files, presenter notes and exported PDFs are scoped explicitly.

03

Deck refresh

Make an existing story easier to follow.

A refresh improves the hierarchy and consistency of an existing deck. Dense slides can become a sequence; competing headings can become one useful message. The underlying facts remain the responsibility of the source material and its owner.

Review can cover typography, contrast, visual rhythm, chart labels and the relationship between a title and its content. Changes to the argument or factual claims are identified separately from visual editing. The work is agreed around the actual presentation.

Agree the work before it begins.

Deliverables, source material, review rounds, editing formats, timing and fees are agreed for the individual project. Bring the intended audience and the material available; the final scope follows the actual brief.

Let’s give your next project a clear direction.
